Agarwood Farming Philippines
Terms and Conditions
Last update: June 24, 2026
These are the terms for using this site. They're meant to be read, not skimmed past — but I've kept them as plain as a legal page can reasonably be.
This site is general information, not professional advice, and using it doesn't create any advisory relationship between us. I have a disclosed financial interest in UAPI referrals. I can't guarantee everything here is current or error-free, and I'm not liable for decisions you make based on it. If any of that doesn't work for you, please don't use the site.
On this page
1. Accepting these terms
By visiting or using agarwoodbusiness.ph, you're agreeing to what's on this page. If something here doesn't sit right with you, the simplest option is not to use the site. These terms sit alongside the Privacy Policy, not instead of it — read that one too if you haven't.
2. What this site is, and isn't
This site is one report, written by one person, about agarwood farming and investing in the Philippines. It's general information — not a service, not a platform, and not an offer to sell you anything directly. Where it describes becoming a plantation partner with UAPI, that's a description of someone else's business, not a transaction happening on this site.
3. No professional advice
Nothing on this site is financial, investment, legal, or tax advice, and nothing in it is a personal recommendation to buy, plant, or invest in anything. The report says this upfront, and it's worth repeating here in plain terms: don't make a financial decision based on this site alone. Talk to a licensed financial adviser, lawyer, or accountant who actually knows your situation before committing any money.
4. My referral relationship with UAPI
I'm an ambassador for United Agarwood Planters Inc. (UAPI) and earn a 3% referral fee on the total contract value if you become a client through a link on this site. That's disclosed at the top of the report, and it's worth repeating here: I have a financial interest in you deciding to work with UAPI, and everything on this site should be weighed with that in mind. Anything attributed to UAPI — its permit status, its inoculation methods, its guarantees — is its own description of itself, not something I've independently verified.
5. Accuracy and limitations
I've tried to source the report's claims carefully — the reference list at the end shows where the numbers and facts come from. Even so, I can't guarantee everything here is current, complete, or error-free, and parts of it — regulations, permit status, prices — can change without this site being updated right away. The harvest value figures in the report are illustrative estimates, not forecasts, promises, or guarantees of what any tree, including mine, will actually produce or sell for. Treat this site as a starting point for your own research, not a finished answer.
6. Third-party links and content
This site links to outside sources — government agencies, research papers, news coverage, UAPI's own site, my LinkedIn profile. I don't control those sites, and linking to them isn't an endorsement of everything on them. Once you click through, you're subject to that site's own terms and privacy practices, not this one's.
7. Intellectual property
The writing on this site is mine, except where it's clearly quoting or citing someone else's work, which is credited in the references. You're welcome to quote a short passage and link back to this page. Republishing the report in full, or in large part, elsewhere without asking first isn't something I've agreed to — reach out through the contact page if you'd like to use more than a short excerpt.
8. Limitation of liability
This site is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent the law allows, I'm not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this site, your reliance on anything in it, or any decision you make about agarwood farming, UAPI, or anything else discussed here. Agarwood farming is a long-term, illiquid agricultural investment with a real risk of loss — trees can die, prices can move, there's no exchange where you can simply sell out. That risk is yours to evaluate and carry. This site doesn't insure you against it, and reading it doesn't transfer that risk to me.
9. Who this site is for
This site discusses a financial decision aimed at adults. It isn't directed at, and shouldn't be used by, anyone under 18.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from your use of this site is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Philippines.
11. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the site changes — for example, if the referral arrangement with UAPI changes, or new features are added. The date at the top will change when that happens. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised terms, so it's worth checking back occasionally.
12. Contact about these terms
Questions about these terms can go through the contact page, or directly to the email address listed there.
